Swarovski reinterprets classic Valentine's silhouettes
Swarovski offers a broad range of Valentine’s Day jewelry pieces, reinterpreting hearts and other classic motifs with a refreshing modern twist. For Creative Director, Nathalie Colin, “the heart is a universal symbol of love and friendship. This Valentine’s Day is no exception, but we wanted to approach this traditional motif from a more modern perspective.” Inspired by the concept of a ribbon draped in the shape of a heart, the “Cupidon” line is the very essence of purity. Available in three platings - rose gold, yellow gold and rhodium - the theme has the approval of Miranda Kerr, muse of the Spring/Summer 2015 campaign “I love the 3D aspect of the Cupidon ring which creates an infinity symbol; it’s a piece that’s both delicate and feminine, and really easy to match with other accessories.” Continuing this light and delicate style is the “Circle Heart,” with its two openwork hearts, one being crystal-embellished, or Cadmia pendant, with its pure heart design. Completely covered in clear pavé crystals, providing an instant touch of sparkle, the versatile “Cupid” heart is encircled by either golden, sky blue, or pastel pink crystals. The “Carol” pendant also provides an element of glamour with pavé crystal, to be worn in two ways: simple and elegant with a single heart, or attached to three other hearts to form a lucky four-leaf clover. For a more on-trend look, Swarovski explores a padlock motif with the “Case” range, sends clear message with the “Emotion bracelet Love”, while the “Canvas” earrings combine organic lines with miniature proportions...
