PEUGEOT FRACTAL and Artoyz Leoz's move into Peugeot Avenue for Christmas !

For its new presentation “Inspiring Christmas”, Peugeot Avenue Paris welcomes the lion brand’s latest concept car: the PEUGEOT FRACTAL. This urban electric coupé brings together all of PEUGEOT’s know-how. Once again, Christmas has inspired the PEUGEOT DESIGN LAB, which is presenting the second series of its successful little lions, Artoyz LEO’Z, which were introduced for Christmas 2014.

PEUGEOT FRACTAL: a revolution driven by sound

Presented for the first time at Frankfurt, the PEUGEOT FRACTAL, an urban electric coupé, revisits the PEUGEOT i-Cokpit® using sound to offer an even more instinctive drive.

It was the Brazilian sound designer Amon Tobin who worked with PEUGEOT’s styling designers to create the interior sound identity for the vehicle, as well as it external signature. The sound varies according to whether the car is accelerating, decelerating or running at constant speed. The 3D printing present in this concept represents 80 % of the surface parts in the cabin and they guide the sound as in an auditorium. After fashion and decor, 3D printing is used for the first time in the automobile world.

At the heart of Peugeot Avenue, an experimental enclosed space is offered to visitors, who are invited to enjoy a sound experience, thanks to a FOCAL sound spatialisation system combined with a SUBPAC bass amplifier, as in the PEUGEOT FRACTAL concept car.

Series 2 LEO’Z: new artists inspired by the Peugeot lion 

Following the success enjoyed by the first series of stylised little lions, the PEUGEOT DESIGN LAB and ARTOYZ have worked together once more to offer the Series 2 Léo’z. This exceptional new collection of twelve figurines is the fruit of work by twelve young designers from the international scene : the French : 2Bom - Yang Cai  - Fakir - Vadim Gilca - GKO -Michael Jaffrain - Cyrielle Lecher - NIARK 1,  the |British JPK design, the Philippino Otto Björnik,  the Japanese  Junko Mizuno and the South African Kronk .

The Artoys Léo’z figurines are on sale at Peugeot Avenue Paris priced at 12 € each.
